The group travels thousands of miles every year to share their engaging and eclectic shows full of music, laughter, and testimony. Since their formation in 2019, their short career has been marked by four consecutive chart-topping songs, three Dove nominations, and a feature performance on the 2020 Gospel Music Association Dove Awards. Their latest 2022 album, God Is Real, incorporates elements of Nashville country-pop and worship.

EKT are also in the final stages of completing a global recording deal that will be announced shortly. The first single is slated to be released in April and full album, mid-June, 2020. Again, EKT will have the fortune of touring Brazilian stadiums with Metallica and Greta Van Fleet in April. Then, make their U.S. debut in May before heading back to Europe in June for Festival Season. Other significant happenings include joining C3 Artist Management and William Morris Endeavor for global booking.

The atmosphere is full of chemicals and tension. Cynicism and mistrust are at a record high. The whole societal order is teetering on the brink of collapse. What better time could there possibly be for a new Ho99o9 (horror) album?

Named after Mary Magdalene and The Outsiders, Magg Dylan are a four-piece Metal band based out of Virginia Beach with a sound amalgamated with Hard Rock, hints of Metalcore, Nu-Metal and Melodic Metal, and nuances of Pop Punk. They are comprised of vocalist and lyricist Suzanne De Iulio, Brucifer Jordan, who plays 7 string guitars, Les Moseley, who plays 5 string basses, and drummer Adam Hoye. They released their first debut full-length album, Amethyst, in February of 2020, right before the pandemic. They have released 4 singles, You Oughta Know (cover, 2020) , Pawns (2021), Lost My Zen and Warning (2022) since then. All their music was produced by Jonathan Dolese of Konkrete Studios, who has produced music for Brave New World, Skywalker & Cane Hill.

On March 3, students learned about Dabke with Arabic TA Belal Elkurd who is from Gaza, Palestine. Dabke is a folk dance that combines circle dance and line dancing and is widely performed at weddings, return of travelers, graduation parties, national celebrations and other joyous occasions. The line forms from right to left and the leader (Laweeh) of the Dabke heads the line, alternating between facing the audience and the other dancers. Dabke is a popular dance in Levantine countries like Palestine, Syria, Lebanon and Jordan.
